Good principals are good principals whether you are preaching a sermon, teaching a Sunday school class or building a business. Successful online businesses don’t build themselves. no matter what kind of hype you might read about becoming a millionaire in a month, any honest, legitimate business is built on good principals. The fact is, these same five principals applied in your life will give you success in whatever you are doing.
Before going into these building blocks which are the makeup of successful online businesses, let me make a bold statement. I may lose some of you here, but I want to be clear about what I mean when I use the word successful. You cannot have a successful business of any kind without making a profit. However, if making money is your only goal in life and business, you will never be truly successful Success is more than making another dollar or another million dollars. Real success is not measured by your net worth. Real success is being able to look back on your life and see the fruit of your labor blooming in the lives of your family, friends and others. these five principals, applied, will give you true success.
1. Honesty -Moral uprightness-the quality, condition, or characteristic of being fair and truthful.be honest be honest with the Lord, with yourself and with others. A thief can have a profitable business, at least until he gets caught. Who wants to be a thief and lie to people just to make a buck? You may not make yours quite as quickly, but I would a million times rather, earn an honest dollar, than a dishonest million truly successful online businesses are honest businesses built and operated by honest people.
2. Sincerity- an honest way of behaving which shows that you really mean what you say or do. This goes hand in hand with honesty. be real about what you do. Don’t rush over to the social sites and say a bunch of stuff that you really don’t believe just to get someone to buy your product. if you can’t be sincere about what you are doing, don’t do it we are all guilty of hiding behind a faade at times, but that should be the exception, not the rule. what our customers see should be what they get.
3. Work Ethic- that means hard, consistent work Successful online businesses are not built on hoping, wishing, or trying. They are built on DOING The Bible says, the desire of a slothful man killeth him. in other words, he wants to be successful, he dreams about what it would be like, but he just can’t find it in himself to get busy and do anything. do some research, learn things that will help you achieve your goal, but don’t get stuck in a rut. Find the activities that produce results and take action. Advertise, write articles and blogs, make videos, do social network marketing. Don’t make excuses, just do it
4. Attitude- an opinion or general feeling about something. A negative attitude produces negative results. A positive attitude produces positive results. if you get down and out every time something goes wrong, you won’t last ’til the water gets hot. Learn from your mistakes and difficulties. if you let them, they will destroy you, but if you use them as stepping stones they will make you successful. Those who fail, see only the clouds, those who build productive lives and successful online businesses, see the clouds, but they also see the rainbow which was God’s promise of a brighter day. And so they get up, and go on.
5. Others – meaning someone other than yourself. Remember our definition of success? Helping others is what real success is all about. Why not be a channel of blessing? You are going to be some kind of channel, because your life will have an effect on those with whom you come in contact. Why not use the gifts God gives you to help others. Simply giving someone an encouraging word at the right time can make a world of difference in their lives. Successful online business are in the business of helping others become successful.
These five principals may not be what you think you need in setting up or building your business or your life, but my guarantee still stands; if you apply these five principals consistently in your life and business you will have success
